![]() ![]() Before you do that though you might want to force a couple settings in your NVIDIA control panel (assuming you have an NVIDIA card) and force vsync on to both SWTFU2.exe and 60fps.exe. So now that the file is in there you should be able to start it from in the folder by double clicking the 60fps.exe. Disabling your anti-virus software ignores it and allows it to function I think. Either way, there is no virus it's wrong and I think the software somehow makes the FPS unlocker go all wonky. Usually with your anti-virus software on this will trigger a virus alert it tries to tell you there is a trojan with the 60fps unlocker for the force unleashed 2 but it doesn't happen with the one for the first game. (mycomputer/C/ProgramFilesX86/Steam/Steamapps/common/StarWarsTheForceUnleashed2) I'm not sure if this needs to be done but again, it's what I did the time that it worked for me.Ĩ) Go into your new "FPS Unlocker" Winrar folder > then into "STFU2" > then into "60FPS" select the 60Fps.exe and extract it into your main Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2 folder. And for that matter never fire it up directly from your Steam Library.Ħ) Download the "STFU 1&2 FPS Unlocker" if you already haven't here: ħ) Once that is downloaded temporarily disable your anti-virus software. In the drop down box select the option "only update game after I launch it".ĥ) When the game finishes installing percentage wise DO NOT launch the game for the first time the normal way to finalize the installation. (Hopefully you've got a high internet speed is all I can say.)Ĥ) While it is installing right click it and go into the "properties" again and then into "updates". (Not sure if this needs to be done but this is what I did)Ģ) Next in the "local files" category in "properties" select "verify the game chache" and let it do it's thing.ģ) After that is done delete the game off of Steam and re-install it. Select the box "local files" and then select "browse local files". ![]() I tried a bunch of different things and nothing was working so I went for a clean install.įirst 3 steps only need to be done if you already have the game installed.ġ) Right click on STFU2 in your library and then go to properties. ![]() I placed the FPS unlocker into the proper folder and it kept giving me an error every time I tried to boot it up. ![]()
